
We are delighted to announce our new charity partner for 2024.
SNAP exists to improve the lives of young people with additional needs by providing social experiences, building self-esteem, and encouraging independence. They provide opportunities for making friends and socialising supported by their caring and experienced staff and volunteer team
- Founded in 1996 initially as a parent support group, SNAP has grown over the years with the needs of our children, young people and families.
- SNAP has Scottish Charitable status and is governed by a board of trustees comprising of a team of professionals and parents who all give their time voluntarily.
- SNAP employ over 20 staff and have a dedicated team of over 15 volunteers.
- SNAP currently supports in the region of 80 children and young people.
- We run a number of clubs and activities for young people aged 5–19 and additional services for those aged 19 and above who need the continuation of the friendships and activities at SNAP.
- Our activities provide a place and time for fun, trying out new and popular activities, as well as simple socialisation opportunities whilst giving parents, carers and siblings a break.
