Covid-19
Our 2021 season is due to commence at the end of March and will be subject to any Covid-19 related government restrictions which may be applicable at the time. We are closely monitoring the situation and in the process of contacting all customers booked for April to discuss the situation with them as their balances become due.
Covid-19 Cancellation Policy
In the event of a Covid related lockdown in our area, and we are therefore forced to stop operations completely and thus to cancel your holiday with us, you would be eligible for a full refund, transfer or credit note option.
If you are unable to travel with us due to a government forced lockdown in your area, we are able to offer you with a credit note or transfer option. We are unable to offer a transfer option due to a reluctance to travel during the pandemic.
Household number restrictions
We do very much hope that by the time we commence our 2021 season that restrictions on household numbers will be relaxed, however we do have to be prepared for this policy to potentialy still be impacting on holidays for the foreseeable future. Therefore we recommend that any new bookings now made for 2021 should consist of a maximum of 6 persons from 2 households only. We will review all bookings a minimum of 4 weeks in advance and see how the situation stands at that point. If necessary we may have to reschedule any holidays which are caught out by this government policy.
Holiday Insurance
We strongly advise all customers to have suitable holiday insurance in place to cover any unforseen circumstances such as injury, illness, bereavement and other standard insurable risks. We do appreciate that at the current time most policies will not cover Covid-19 related issues which is why we have our own Covid-19 cancellation policy in place (detailed above), however we are not able to offer transfer options to cases which would usually be covered with standard holiday insurance cover (and therefore our standard cancellation policy will apply, detailed in our T&C's).
We would be very grateful if all communication could be done via email if possible due to a combination of limited staff resources staff working from home. If you would like a call back please email your details and we will call as soon as we can.
Please note: due to the unavoidable increase of time required to clean, maintain and prepare the vessels for hand-over, the turnaround times will may be longer due to additional procedures in place whilst we are operating during the pandemic. This means that you may only be able to board your hire boat at around 2 pm or even later on the first day of your holiday. As we are required to arrange all arrivals at various set/fixed times (to observe social distancing), we'll be contacting all customers nearer the time of their booking to discuss/confirm the allocated arrival time slot. All vessels must be returned to us at the usual time of 08:30am on the last day of hire.
All bookings can be made online, please check the availability on our website. Our online availability is live, therefore subject to change at any time and always up to date.
Unfortunately we are unable to provide viewings of the vessels at the boatyard at the current time. If you have any specific queries regarding any boat classes you are interested in possibly booking, we would be grateful if you could please email these and we will respond as soon as possible.
You can book online now for 2021 & 2022, please see our free cancellation information for advance bookings and book online via our website.
Thank you very much for your support, we have been touched by our customers response to this situation.
Please stay safe during this very difficult time.
