Covid-19
Scotland has now moved out of level zero however please note that face coverings are still mandatory on arrival to the office, during instruction and if you visit pubs, restaurants or visitor attractions en-route.
Covid-19 Cancellation Policy
In the event of a Covid related lockdown in our area, and we are therefore forced to stop operations completely and thus to cancel your holiday with us, you would be eligible for a full refund, transfer or credit note option.
If you are unable to travel with us due to a government forced lockdown in your area, we are able to offer you with a credit note or transfer option. We are unable to offer a transfer option due to a reluctance to travel during the pandemic.
Household number restrictions
We do very much hope that there will be no further restrictions on household numbers, however we do have to be prepared for this policy to potentialy still be impacting on holidays for the foreseeable future. We will review all bookings a minimum of 2 weeks in advance and see how the situation stands at that point. If necessary we may have to reschedule any holidays which are caught out by this government policy.
Holiday Insurance
We strongly advise all customers to have suitable holiday insurance in place to cover any unforseen circumstances such as injury, illness, bereavement and other standard insurable risks. We do appreciate that at the current time most policies will not cover Covid-19 related issues which is why we have our own Covid-19 cancellation policy in place (detailed above), however we are not able to offer transfer options to cases which would usually be covered with standard holiday insurance cover (and therefore our standard cancellation policy will apply, detailed in our T&C's).
Please note: due to the unavoidable increase of time required to clean, maintain and prepare the vessels for hand-over, the turnaround times will may be longer due to additional procedures in place whilst we are operating during the pandemic. As we are required to arrange all arrivals at various set/fixed times (to limit the number of people arriving at the yard at any one time), we'll be contacting all customers nearer the time of their booking to discuss/confirm the allocated arrival time slot. All vessels must be returned to us at the usual time of 08:30am on the last day of hire.
All bookings can be made online, please check the availability on our website. Our online availability is live, therefore subject to change at any time and always up to date.
Unfortunately we are unable to provide viewings of the vessels at the boatyard at the current time. If you have any specific queries regarding any boat classes you are interested in possibly booking, we would be grateful if you could please email these and we will respond as soon as possible.
You can book online now for the remainder of 2021 & 2022, please see our free cancellation information for advance bookings and book online via our website.
Thank you very much for your support, we have been touched by our customers response to this situation.
Please stay safe during this very difficult time.
