Availability & Booking
Click here to view our availability calendar, check detailed pricing and make an online booking for any of our vessels. (see our updates about the Covid-19 situation)
Availability links are also contained within all of the individual pages in the Boat Classes section.
The dates on the calender that are shown in green indicate we have availability and you can make a reservation online. For last minute vacancies we can be flexible and take boats out of their normal booking days or offer them for short-breaks, so if you see any availability that you may be interested in please get in touch with us to discuss a potential booking. Where dates on the calender are shown in red, this means the boat class is already booked for this period. (Also marked red when closed between November and the end of March).
Our online availability is live and subject to change at any time so we do always recommend booking via our website or email if you have any queries we can assist with.
The initial payment due to confirm is 10% of the hire charge (Minimum deposit £180). Your final balance payment is due 10 weeks before the hire, or if your hire is due to commence within 10 weeks, the full payment would be due to confirm. The Canal Fees applicable are displayed online with the hire quote. Payment for fuel is settled at the end of your holday and further details are on our Prices & Information page, also please see our Terms & Conditions of Hire. We accept VISA, MasterCard & Debit Card. Card payments can be made online via a SagePay secure connection.
Our bank details are available on request for balance payments. Please note that transfers from foreign banks may attract additional bank charges which must be paid for by the payer or may be charged.
Many of the larger vessels such as Torridon, Kintail, Strathspey, Highland Monarch and Balmoral class do book up to 12 months in advance therefore we do recommend you book these as early as you can, to avoid disappointment.
Cancellation Policy
For advance bookings we guarantee you an unconditional refund of the money you have paid, if you have to cancel (for any reason) any holiday booked to be taken after the end of the current season onwards, provided you cancel by the 15th December (of the year prior to the booked holiday). If you have to cancel after 15th December a cancellation charge will be applicable. Therefore, we recommend you have a cancellation insurance policy in place. Caley Cruisers cannot offer cancellation insurance. Please also see our Covid-19 cancellation policy
You must contact us immediately if you have to cancel. Please send us a cancellation request in writing (email is acceptable) and include your booking reference and/or your booking confirmation. See Condition 6 in our Terms & Conditions for cancellation fees applicable. Your cancellation is effective from the date we receive your written confirmation from you, which will be acknowledged.
Please note:
We require a minimum of 2 reasonably fit and able, adult (must be 21 or over) crew members on board each boat at all times whilst cruising.
This is an activity holiday and both members of the crew will be required to participate during locking and berthing procedures.
If it is evident on arrival that the hirer of the vessel does not comply with this condition and Caley Cruisers Ltd has reason to believe that the holiday is not suitable for the hirer and crew, Caley Cruisers Ltd reserves the right to deny use of the vessel for cruising purposes but may instead offer the hirer the use of the vessel as a stationary houseboat in the boat yard for the duration of the hire period. No refunds of the hire charges will be issued in these cases.
It is not permitted on any boat to carry more persons than advertised. Accommodation is provided only for the number stated. Any change of party details before or during a holiday must be authorised by Caley Cruisers Ltd.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer one-way hire.
We recommend that you view our instruction films prior to booking to make sure this holiday is suitable for you and all members of your crew. Should you have any queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to get in contact to discuss these with us.
