"I first came across Caley Cruisers in the 1970’s, when conducting a Loch Ness Monster hunt for the BBC Children’s Programme, Blue Peter, when I spent several days filming on a cruiser with the company’s founder, the wonderful Jim Hogan. Over the past 25 years my wife and I have cruised the Caledonian Canal on four occasions, each time with Caley Cruisers. In 2010 we took a Highland Monarch with another couple, and had perhaps the best holiday ever. There is always something new to do on the canal, the restaurants en route are excellent, and the boat itself had lots of space and every facility. Everything is taken care of, and the instruction before setting off means that you leave for your holiday with great confidence in your own ability to get the best out of the boat. I would, and have, recommended Caley Cruisers to all our friends. It is a holiday on which we can take our dogs, so it really ticks all the boxes. It’s a long way to Inverness from the south of England, but, my word, it is worth the trip. Quite beautiful"
