Bicycle Hire

Bicycle Hire is available as a part of your cruise package. Hiring a bicycle allows you the freedom to explore the paths and roads adjacent to the Caledonian Canal waterway. You can follow the Great Glen Way or you could travel further afield and enjoy the great Highland scenery along the way!


Bicycles can also come in handy during your holiday to explore some of the sights and attractions off the beaten track and to allow you to access some of the villages easily, like Drumnadrochit which is located a short distance from the harbour area.

You can find out more about the routes available for cycling at the Great Glen Ways Project. The Forestry Commission also has various Mountain Biking Trails in and around the Great Glen and the VisitScotland Cycling website offers some useful information about the area and the routes.
 

The cost for hiring is £45 per adult bicycle per week or £35 per child bicycle (suits 8-10 year old) per week. Please note that pre-booking is advisable with payment due on arrival. Helmet, lock, toolkit and route maps are provided with all of our hire bicycles.
