Prices & Information

Hire Charges for 2010 start from £490 per boat, per week, or £319 for a 3 night short break, (Iona - Price Band A) and go up to £2,050 (Balmoral - Price Band E). Costs for fuel and a damage waiver are charged in addition. All 2010 prices are detailed on the individual boat class pages, all prices incl. VAT (@ 17.5%) in £ Sterling (GBP).

Weekly prices apply for Saturday start per week. For holidays starting on Friday the following Saturday charges apply, for holidays starting on Monday the previous Saturday charges apply.

Additional Information:

In addition to the Hire Charge you must pay a Fuel Deposit (amount depending on boat class) and a non-refundable Damage Waiver. At the end of your holiday your boat will be refuelled and the amount used balanced against the Fuel Deposit paid. Payment of the damage waiver means that if you damage the vessel, or anything else with it, you will not be liable for any costs for damage incurred.

Fortnight Discount - A discount of 15% off the second week, except between 3rd July and 27th August when 10% applies.

Short Break Holidays - All vessels (except Strathspey) can be booked for a short break cruise (3 or 4 nights), from Fri 2.00pm until Mon 8:30am or from Mon 2.00pm until Fri 8:30am. Isle of Skye, Eriskay, Highland Glen, Highland Monarch, Taransay and Balmoral are not available for short breaks during price band E.
 

10-/11-nights holidays - All vessels (except Strathspey) can be booked for 10/11 night holidays, starting on Fri (10 nights) or Mon (11 nights). From Fri 2pm until Mon 8:30am or from Mon 2pm until Fri 8:30am. The cost being charged at the full weekly rate + 50% of second week (Saturday price, rounded up).
Isle of Skye, Eriskay, Highland Glen, Highland Monarch, Taransay and Balmoral are not available for 10/11 night holidays during price band E.

Group Bookings - Please note that we cannot accept bookings for Stag and Hen parties. For certain groups we reserve the right to apply an additional security deposit of £150 per person on arrival. If you have any questions about group bookings then please do not hesitate to contact us.
 

Pets - Pets are permitted on all vessels except Balmoral, Eriskay and Isle of Skye. The cost is £30 per pet , per week (min. charge £30), payment to be made at the time of booking.
 

Fishing Permit - A fishing permit can be arranged when you check-in on arrival. The permit covers the boat; therefore there is no restriction on the number of rods used. The cost is £20 per week or £10 per short break, payable on arrival. If you need to purchase fishing equipment and/or bait then this can be done locally at J Graham & Co. 

Bike Hire - Bikes are available to hire from the boat yard. Pre-booking is essential. The costs are £45 per bike, per week or £30 per bike for a short break, payable on arrival. We also have a child's bike (suits 8-10 yr old) available for £35 per week or £20 for a short break, also payable on arrival.
 

Dinghy Hire - We can also offer dinghy hire. This would be purely for recreational use as there is no requirement to use a dinghy to go ashore (you will be berthed alongside jetties and pontoons during your cruise). The dinghy will need to be stored deflated when not in use and cannot be left inflated on the boat or towed behind the boat. Pre-booking is essential. The costs are £40 per week or £20 per short break.
 

Secure car parking - Parking is available at the boat yard (at your own risk), free of charge.
 

Pick-up and return time for all vessels:
The pick-up time is 2.00pm, although Skipper and crew briefings start from midday (12:00). All boats have to be returned and vacated by 8:30am.
 

2011 - We are booking up very quickly for next year.  Many of our vessels do book up to 12 months in advance so it is worthwhile booking early.  If you book before the end of October 2010 for next year, we will honour the 2010 Hire Charge (where bank holiday dates change, the equivelant 2010 date will apply).   If you have to cancel for any reason, providing you do so before mid January 2011, you will receive a full refund.  Our 2011 Brochure and price list will be available from early November and will be sent to you automatically if you have requested our 2010 brochure, or been on holiday with us during 2009 or 2010.
