How to make a booking

Visit our availability page to check that the dates you require are available. Click the REQUEST button beside the holiday you want, then fill in the booking enquiry form.

We will then make a no obligation provisional reservation and will contact you to confirm. If the boat class is already booked for your dates (there is a chance that someone already has a provisional hold already), we will contact you as soon as possible and offer you alternatives.
 

You can also phone our office on 01463 236328. If we are not able to take the call immediately, please leave a message with your name and phone number and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We will be able to check availability, provisionally book an option for you or book and confirm. However, we will still require a completed booking form (available online and in our brochure) from you, where you confirm that you have read and accept the Terms & Conditions of Hire.

Once we have made a provisional reservation, it will remain on hold for a limited time only (usually for 2 days), after which time it may be confirmed by paying the initial payment/deposit.  This is payable by Credit Card (VISA or Mastercard, 2% processing fee applicable), Debit Card, Bank Transfer or Cheque. 

Your final balance payment is due 8 weeks before the hire, or if your hire is due to commence within 8 weeks, the full payment would be due to confirm.

Please do let us know which payment method you prefer by phoning or emailing us. If you prefer to make a bank transfer, please contact us for our bank details.

Cancellation
For early bookings we guarantee you an unconditional refund of the money you have paid if, before 15th January (in the year the booking will take place), you have to cancel (for any reason) any holiday booked to be taken from 29th March of that year onwards.


If you have to cancel after 15th January a charge will be applicable therefore we recommend you have a cancellation insurance policy in place at the time of booking.   You must telephone us immediately if you have to cancel and on the same day send us written confirmation (email is acceptable).  See Condition 6 in our Terms & Conditions for cancellation fees applicable

At our discretion and subject to availability we may be able to transfer your booking to an alternative date.  The hire charge applicable to the new dates or boat class would be applicable.

Please note that we do require a minimum of 2 fit and able, adult (must be over 21) crew members on board the boat at all times whilst cruising.  This is an activity holiday and both members of the crew will be required to participate during locking and berthing procedures.

We recommend that you view our instruction films prior to booking to make sure this holiday is suitable for you and all members of your crew.  Should you have any queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to get in contact to discuss these with us.

2014 Bookings
Many of our vessels book up early, particularly the larger ones like Strathspey and  Highland Monarch class; therefore, we do advise you to book as early as you can.
If you book before the end of October 2013, the 2013 hire charge will apply (where bank holiday dates change, the equivalent date banding hire charge will apply). 
And remember, if you have to cancel for any reason, and providing you do so before 15th January 2014, your deposit for next season is fully refundable.
